As Muslims all over the world celebrate the 2021 Eid-el-Kabir, Delta State Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, has urged the Islamic faithful to emulate the Holy Prophet Muhammed by imbibing the ideals of sacrifice he exhibited in his lifetime.

The Governor’s Sallah message which was contained in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Olisa Ifeajika, reminded the Muslim faithful of the important message of Eid-el-Kabir which is love, peace, and sacrifice.

He called for the coming together of Nigerians to surmount challenges confronting the nation.

According to the Governor, his government in conjunction with security agencies in the state, will ensure peaceful celebration of Sallah with compliance with the Covid-19 protocols as its third wave threatens the world.

He further re-assured Muslims in the state of his administration’s continued commitment to partnering with them for a stronger Delta.
