Minister of Education decries high illiteracy amongst Nigerian Graduates

Malam Adamu Adamu, the current Minister of Education in a conference at Yola reached a conclusion that many Nigerian Graduates are unable to read or write in a tolerable manner.

He disclosed that the standard of education continues to deteriorate and as such Nigerian teachers and students need to brace up to reverse the downward trend.

A similar concern was raised by Kaduna State governor in recent times, Nasir El-Rufai, who specifically decried the fall in the level of education especially in North and raising concerns on how affirmative action may have negatively affected youths in the North.
