Lazarus Chakwera has postponed the announcement of his new cabinet on grounds that more time is needed for a thorough review.
The President had earlier committed to a reshuffle within 2-days but has now requested for patience as he undertakes the duty in line with the leadings of the Malawian constitution.
The news was confirmed in a statement released by the presidential press secretary, Brian Banda. Read the statement in part below:
