The Lagos State Internal Revenue Service has released a circular extending the deadline for filing Pay-As-You-Earn tax return deadline till the 14th of February, 2021.
The move is an attempt to cushion the effect of the Coronavirus on Lagos State taxpayers and the LIRS advised employers struggling with the e-filing platforms to reach out to representatives to meet with the revised deadlines.
They also encouraged the visit to the LIRS official website – www.lirs.gov.ng for further details. the statement was duly signed by the executive chairman – Ayodele Subair.
