Imo Governor donates 100 vehicles to security agencies

Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma in his efforts to flush out criminals in the state has donated another set of 100 vehicle communications gadgets to security agencies in the state.

Presenting the facilities at the Heroes Square, Owerri, Uzodinma commended security agencies for their continued effort in tackling criminality in the state.

The Imo state government for the second time in the last year is distributing 100 security vehicles and gadgets to security agencies to assist in fighting crime.

Governor Uzodinma had on 20th March 2020 donated the first set of 100 vehicles for operation search and flush. This time, the recent security challenges in the state no doubt has prompted this gesture.

The Governor, is therefore, tasking the security agencies not to spare any criminal hideout in the state.

Responding, Brigadier-General Raymond Utsaha, said that the vehicles will go a long way in addressing security challenges in Imo State.

Commiserating with families of victims of banditry in the state, Uzodinma reassured residents of protection of their lives and Properties.
