Hundreds of travellers and pedestrians have been left stranded with an early Monday morning downpour on t the Keffi Abuja highway as the area was over flooded.
It was gathered that the drainage system by the roadside is not wide enough to contain the water thereby causing it to over flood the highway.
As of the time of filing this report, several persons can be seen abandoning their vehicles and crossing the water as they can’t wait for the water to subside while others who cannot leave their vehicles are waiting for when the road will be free to continue their journey.
From observations and firsthand witness, both sides of the road is been covered leaving the highway submerged as passers-by and residents watch with amazement.
