As Nigerians mark Democracy Day, most people think there is little to celebrate looking at the current situation of the country.
They want the present administration to go back to the drawing board and give Nigerians the true change they were promised before voting them into office.
If there is any time Nigerians are calling for true democracy it is now as many believe the system has not fared well under the present administration especially in the area of security and harsh economic policies.
But how did we get here? According to respondents, bad leadership is the number one factor. They said that there is still hope, but the leaders must first go back to the drawing board and put the interest of the nation before any other.
They all admitted that for the country to enjoy true democracy it must be practiced void of sentiments, sectionalism among others ills.
