The former Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Timi Frank, recently spoke on President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration as the worse ever seen.
Frank said that unfortunately, Buhari is deaf and dumb and does not listen to the cries of the Nigerians and he is not ready to listen to the people and cares less about providing security.
The former APC Deputy National Publicity Secretary hinted that people live in fear, frustration, and pain.
He noted that the government focuses on arresting people who speak the truth which is why it spent its time and resources looking for Nnamdi Kanu and Sunday Igboho instead of channelling the energy to fight the insecurity in the country.
“Nnamdi Kanu was kidnapped in Kenya, he was not legally arrested because there was no due process followed to arrest him.
“This was possible because the government of Kenya is corrupt and they worked closely with the corrupt government of Nigeria to capture Nnamdi Kanu.
“Being a part of the APC government, I realized they tell lies often, they used lies to come into power during the 2015 elections.
“They can come and sue me because they know I am speaking the truth. The government did not give Nigerians the platform for democracy, this is why the people want the separation and there is agitation because there is no provision for security, people barely feed, there is no electricity just police harassment and insults.
“A good government should call for a referendum, let the people decide if they want a breakup. If the majority wants to go, then they go but if the majority do not want to go, then the agitators have failed. If the government of Nigeria put in the same efforts they use in capturing Kanu and Igboho to fight insecurity caused by the Fulani herdsmen, by now, he would have arrested the leaders of Fulani herdsmen but because the President is the leader of the Fulani herdsman, he keeps quiet and does nothing.
“The Northern Leader’s Forum, NLF, has come together to tell Buhari to step down or to be ready to be impeached because his government has failed Nigerians.
“The government of Nigeria has failed and that is why the United States of America’s lawmakers plan to stop $875 million arms sale to Nigeria and their reason was that Nigerians’ human rights have been abused. The US cannot do things with a country that is against its citizens.
The government of Nigeria has used arms to kill more civilians than terrorists, the Americans want the killings to stop, likewise the insecurity in the country.
“The military of Nigeria used their arms to kill civilians during the Endsars protest and the massacre at Lekki was done by them too.
The United States needs to stop the current means in Nigeria because the President is trying to run for a third tenure against the Constitution and he will amend the Constitution to suit his needs.”
