4 female students kidnapped, 1 shot at Plateau State University

Four female students of the Plateau State University, Bokkos, North-Central Nigeria were on Monday kidnapped by unknown gunmen.

It was gathered that gunmen invaded student settlements outside the University at about 11 pm local time on Monday where they also shot one male student after kidnapping the four female students, a top management staff said.

The incident was also confirmed by the Chief Security Officer of the University, Samuel Kurtong, immediately after the incident.

As of the time of filing in this report, Plateau State Police Command could not be reached for comment.
