Zamfara govt. reduces working hours during Ramadan

Zamfara State Governor, Bello Mohammed, has approved a reduction of the working hours during the month of Ramadan.

A statement by the Permanent Secretary, Administration, in the Office of the Secretary To the State Government, Abdullahi Bakura, said it is to enable the working class in the state to have ample time to dedicate themselves for the service of Allah in the Holy Month of Ramadan.

According to the statement, the state government has reduced the working hours from Monday to Thursday, to 9 am to 2 pm, while Friday, 9 am to 12 pm every week, throughout the month of Ramadan fast.

It further noted that Governor Mohammed is doing everything possible to improve the general welfare of the public and civil servants in the state.

He equally urged Muslims in the state to put more effort into praying to Allah for forgiveness, peaceful living, economic growth, and the overall development of the state.
