1,800 Corps Members To Benefit from Agric -Entrepreneurship Training in Cross River state

The National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, has entered a partnership with relevant government agencies in Cross River State to train corps members on agro-entrepreneurs in a bid to reduce white-collar jobs after service.

State Coordinator of NYSC in the state, Zemo Andrew, made this known at the Obubra Orientation Camp during the swearing-in of 1, 800 corps members for regimented training.

Andrew said the vocational training in agriculture and its value chains will enable corps members to be self-reliant after their one-year service.

He explained that relevant Ministries, Departments, and Agencies of governments in Cross River State have been engaging to provide lands and other infrastructures to enable the lofty dreams which will be largely beneficial to the people of the state realized.

The vocational training on agricultural enterprises according to the State Coordinator, was part of the dream of NYSC’s contribution to economic recovery in Nigeria.
