Palestine and Israel have been engulfed in retaliatory air strike clashes since Monday. As many as 67 persons have been murdered in Gaza while 7 Israeli death casualties have been recorded.

The violence began after several weeks of heightening tensions between the two in East Jerusalem over a said building that is equally revered Temple Mount or Noble Sanctuary.

An ultimatum to remove Israeli security presence at the site by the Hamas unheeded by Israel started the airstrikes, first from the Hamas.

Over 374 arrests have been made and 36 officers in Israel have been injured.

Israel’s Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu has described the chain of events as anarchy condemning the acts of both parties. He further disclosed plans to send military reinforcements to help the police restore normalcy.

The most catastropic event so far is the collapse of a multi-storey residential building, the al-Sharouk tower, alongside other media outlets in Gaza city due to an airstrike from Israel.

Gaza militants have in retaliation fired 130 rockets into Israel.

Israel also suffered airstrikes, as of this morning 1,500 rockets were fired into Israeli cities. Many Israelites were in bomb shelters reducing the number of casualties greatly.

The global community have called for peace with the United Nations seeking to broker peace between the two feuding nations.
