UK and Australia sign Post-Brexit Trade Deal

Prime Ministers from the UK and Australia have signed a new trade deal which will allow cars, scotch Whisky, biscuits, and ceramics to become cheaper to sell to Australia.

The deal which has been described by Boris Johnson as a “new dawn” is the first of its kind to be negotiated from scratch by this administration since the Brexit from the EU. The deal finalized at 10 Downing Street.

The deal allows for farmers to be protected by the 15-years tariff free imports, a major concern that was raised by UK industry leaders

The new arrangement is expected to boost the UK’s economy by 0.02 percent.
