Three suspects in connection with the recent killings in Plateau were paraded today by the Special Military Task Force “Operation Safe Haven”.
The three men were said to have been captured at Gashish District in Barikin Ladi Local government area in Plateau State and were paraded alongside 14 others.
The spokesman for the Special Task Force, Maj. Umar Adams, while parading the suspects, told reporters that the suspects were arrested with sophisticated rifles, one AK47 and three locally made guns in their possession.
Two of the suspects were identified as Fulani herdsmen and one was Berom- one of the minority groups in the state.
The 14 others were arrested in connection with the recently experienced civil unrest in the state.
