Traditional Rulers Team up with Ayade, Warn Any Trouble Maker Of Consequences

Traditional rulers in Cross River State have warned anyone who wants to foment trouble and make the state a political battleground to have a change of mind or face the consequences.

This was part of their position when the 18 paramount rulers, clan, and village heads met with Governor Ben Ayade in his office, stating that they are with the Governor in his decision to socket the state with the central government in Abuja.

Speaking through its Chairman, HIs Royal Majesty Etim Okon Edet, the traditional rulers said the support they gave to the two former governors that made Cross River a peaceful state will be given to the Governor.

The traditional rulers said that Cross River State cannot do opposition politics that will bring suffer to the state any longer.

Governor Ayade while commending the traditional rulers for supporting a peaceful Cross River said he will attract more development to the state in his new party.

The traditional rulers were in the Government House to extract a peace deal with the Governor and partner with him in maintaining law and order in the state.
