With 10 wins out of 16 nominations at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards, it is safe to say that The Weeknd is having a great career year. We’re not the only ones feeling that way as his “Save Your Tears” performance right after clinching those trophies left no room for doubt.
In total, The Weeknd has been nominated 19 times making him one of the top five winners of all time, alongside Drake, Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber and Gareth Brooks. He was not the only winner (of course) Drake added another trophy to his already sprawling list of 27.
Pink clinched the Icon Award, joining the ranks of Michael Jackson and Stevie Wonder. Memorable performances came from the beloved BTS boys, SZA and Doja with ‘Kiss Me More’ and Alicia Keys performance.
