The Health Minister, Gerald Chami raised probable concerns on the new vaccines, especially on its efficacy and overall safety.
Tanzania was one of the first to order the Madagascan herbal remedy before it was debunked as a possible cure by the WHO in a show of what seems to be promoting alternative medicine, this is another indicator that the East African nation seems to be drawn to more natural medicine to help alleviate the global pandemic.
In an interesting twist, some House of Representatives members have raised the same motion in Nigeria that alternative local remedies should be considered instead of acquiring the vaccines. The House Speaker, Femi Gbajabiamila adopted the motion for local remedies to be considered.
