Justice Ladiran Akintola of the Oyo High Court sitting in Ibadan has ordered the Attorney General of the Federation and the Department of State Security, DSS, not to arrest the Yoruba nation agitator, Sunday Adeyemo (aka Sunday Igboho).
The Federal Government and the DSS were also restrained from arresting, intimidating, harassing, and blocking Igboho’s bank account.
The order is a sequel to an ex-parte motion moved by the counsel to Igboho, Yomi Aliu (SAN), at the court on Wednesday, just as the court adjourned further hearing on the case till August 18.
The Yoruba Nation agitator is currently facing trial in the neighbouring Republic of Benin after being arrested.
