The President-elect, Bola Tinubu has urged new governor-elects and lawmaker-elects to embrace their opponents and supporters to achieve a united Nigeria.
While congratulating the winners of Saturday’s governorship and State Houses of Assembly elections, Tinubu said it was important for the winners and losers to initiate the process of healing.
The former Lagos State governor said the election is pivotal to the growth and sustenance of democracy and democratic governance at the state levels.
Tinubu added that consolidating democratic governance at the sub-national level will bring more development and improved quality of life to the masses.
