The governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party in Rivers State, Magus Abe, has denied congratulating Simini/alayi Fubara of the Peoples Democratic Party, on his emergence as the Governor-elect in the state.
Abe made this known in a statement issued by his spokesperson, Parry Benson, on Tuesday, and sent to newsmen in Port Harcourt.
He said he did not congratulate the state governor, Nyesom Wike, over the victory of the PDP in the March 18 governorship and House of Assembly elections.
INEC declared Fubara winner of the state governorship election with 302,614 votes.
Abe disclosed that the election was a sham and fraught with violence.
