The workers at the Shoprite stores have begun a protest after discovering that the South African owners have divested all their investments to Nigerians without paying them their entitlements.
Workers in Ibadan were seen protestjnf along the Dugbe branch obstructing the flow of traffic along Ring Road.
Somenof the workers were quoted as saying they had to get their entitlements before the management leave the shores of the country and will continue in protest for as long as is necessary.
