An Indian man, Thangulla Satish bled to death after a Rooster he was training for a cockfight stabbed him repeatedly in the groin with a three-inch knife.
Satish was among 16b organizers who were preparing for an illegal cockfight in the village of Lothunur, Telegana.
The birds which are sometimes drugged and have their feathers plucked out to increase their aggressiveness and branded with a gaff (3-inch-knife) sometimes end up dead during the competition.
Law enforcement officials are currently looking for the remaining 15 organizers which could serve at least two years in jail for manslaughter.
