Pressure continues to pile on South Africa’s president, Cyril Ramaphosa, amid hidden cash allegations scandal which could weaken him ahead of an ANC conference in December, where he is expected to seek re-election.
Ramaphosa denied the allegation, on Thursday, stating that they were outrageous, and false, adding that he was willing to face Parliament on the issue of accountability.
The scandal erupted in June after South Africa’s ex-spy boss filed a complaint with the police, alleging the cover-up of a heist at one of the president’s farmhouses.
