Rinu Oduala has announced that she has effectively withdrawn from the Lagos State Judicial Panel on Police Brutality on grounds of mischief at trying to cover up the activities that took place at the toll on the 20th of October, 2020.
Rinu expressed pride at the progress made in generating some level of transparency over the atrocities of the now-disbanded SARS group, however, described them as partial wins.
She also registered her displeasure over the repossessing of the toll, despite the public sentiments and the fact that the Lagos State government and the private owners of the toll of all wrongdoings.
She claimed she joined the panel with hopes that the government would recognize its failures and do all it could to overhaul the security infrastructure but unfortunately may not be able to continue due to some elements of foul play.
