Some residents of Kangashik, Zawan in Jos South Local Government Area of Plateau State have decried the forceful take over of their lands by the government and want a quick intervention to avoid any possible actions that may come as a result of the problem.
They made their position known in a peaceful protest to draw governments’ attention to the illegal confiscation of their lands by some top government officials.
Mary, a widow, and all she’s got is a piece of land and is about to be taken over if nothing is done to address the issue, all she wants is justice.
Others who spoke said their demands must be looked into for a quick resolution before it degenerates into what government may not be able to control.
They called on the Plateau State government to come to their aid in the interest of peace.
