New York Rapper Jim Jones is facing charges after he and friends led Georgia cops on a chase that ended with him getting busted for possession of drugs and handgun, reports TMZ.
Jones and his friends were in the car when police officers pulled them over at Coweta County. According to Sheriff’s Department, instead of stopping, the car accelerated, forcing the cops to give chase.
Jones was, however, seated at the backseat.
On searching the car, the cops found marijuana, oxycodone, Percocet, vape cartridges, 2 loaded pistols, THC oil and cash –which Jones called “just petty cash”. None of the defaulters claimed or admitted possession of any of the items.
Jim Jones was charged for possession of the stolen gun, a firearm believed to have been used during the commission of a crime, and possession of narcotics.
He was released on $7,000 bail.
