The President-Elect of the United States, Joe Biden says the man he is replacing on the 20th of January lacks respect for the rule of law. Biden told a news conference in Wilmington, Delaware that President Trump bore responsibility for the attack and violence on Capitol Hill.

The incoming American leader alleged that Trump supported those he described as domestic terrorists. In the meantime, the Speaker of the United States House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi said moves must commence to have President Trump removed from office through impeachment.

Pelosi said in at a press conference in the Congress, that the twenty-fifth Amendment of the U.S Constitution, which begins with the cabinet of an incumbent president declaring a president as unfit to hold office, and recommending for Congress to commence an impeachment process, needs to be followed upon.

The number three in the line of succession to the Office of the President of the United States blamed President Trump’s comments as inciting the violent riots that rocked the Capitol and insisted that the president who has barely twelve days to the end of his term, had denigrated the office, and must be removed before then.
