Taraba State Governor, Darius Ishaku, says he is glad that peace is gradually returning to flashpoints in the state.

He called on the citizens to remain ambassadors of peace, humility, and sacrifice, in the spirit of the Easter celebration.

The Governor said the lessons of love and compassion that come with Easter, should be imbibed by all, beyond the Easter period.

This was contained in an official statement by Governor Ishaku to mark Easter in the state.

He also reminded Taraba people that the government is aware of the security threat posed by kidnappers and other criminal activities in the state, and is working hand in hand with security agencies to put an end to them.

He called for the cooperation of every citizen in the battle against insecurity.

Governor Ishaku ended his Easter message with a call on Taraba residents to take the Covid-19 vaccination seriously, as the vaccine is now available in the state.
