Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun has visited the victim of a stray bullet of Police, Michael Gabriel at the hospital, following a violent protest by residents of the State.
Abiodun in company of the State health team visited the Intensive Care Unit of the Federal Medical Center, FMC, Idi- Aba where the victim is receiving treatment.
Speaking to newsmen after the visit, the Governor said the victim was hit by police bullet in the arm in process of dispersing angry protesters who wants to burn public facilities.
He disclosed that the victim is alive and stable and therefore called for calm.
The victim’s wife, Taiwo Michael, thanked the governor and the management of their timely response in saving her husband.
