Obaseki inaugurates 11 commissioners, 2 special advisers

Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, has inaugurated 11 Commissioners and two Special Advisers as part of the State Executive Council.

This first batch of appointees comprising of eight men and five women were charged by Governor Obaseki to bear in mind, the economic and political peculiarities of the time as they join hands with him in the mission to transform the state.

They took the oath of office pledging to give their best to the job at hand.

Governor Obaseki told them of the task ahead given the current challenges faced by governments at all levels.

The Governor charged them to be result orientated as their performances will be assessed on regular basis. Some of the newly inaugurated assured that they will justify the confidence reposed in them.

Obaseki also swore in Justice Joe Acha as the substantive Chief Judge of Edo State after acting for five months.
