A probe into the activities of Hadiza Bala-Usman, the Managing Director of the Nigerian Ports Authorities is set to commence on Monday. According to related sources, a panel of inquiry has been put in place to investigate the now suspended director’s activities.
It is perused that the NPA boss is currently being investigated after a recommendation from the Minister of the Federal Ministry of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi as disclosed by the SSA to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu.
The suspension and panel of inquiry which has been approved by the President will be led by the Director, Maritime Services and the Deputy Director of the Maritime Service will serve as the Secretary.
Mr. Mohammed Koko will serve as interim managing director of the Nigerian Ports Authorities.
