The Nigerian Police Force has taken to their Twitter platform to announce the launch of a Cybercrime Reporting Web Portal – incb.police.gov.ng which will help ensure that perpetrators of cybercrime are speedily investigated and answerable for their crimes.
The portal will allow for complainants from all over the world to lodge their complaints and those cases will be taken up with the Cybercrime Unit and INTERPOL.
The Police Force has urged the use of the portal to ensure that only correct information is propagated and deliberate falsehood is squelched.
