The Nigeria Police Force has apprehended and paraded two members of a fifteen-man transnational kidnap syndicate suspected to have been involved in the abduction of an American Citizen, Philipe Walton, on the 28th of October 2020, at his farm, in Masalata village, in the Republic of Niger.
The force public relations officer, Frank Mba, during the parade in Abuja, stated that the two suspects were arrested following the special intelligence-led operations, aimed at arresting the criminal gang, disrupting their operations and halting other criminal activities by them.
Mba also said that the force is collaborating with its Nigerian counterparts in the investigation to apprehend other members of the transnational syndicate, who are currently at large.
