The National Examinations Council, NECO, has said it will not extend its registration period for school-based candidates for the 2021 Senior School Examinations.
In a statement by its Head, Information and Public Relations Division, Azeez Sani, NECO stressed that the registration exercise which started on March 31, will close by June 25, unfailingly.
The statement further said that the council’s examinations are expected to commence by July 5 hinting that the measure is to allow the Council to plan effectively for the conduct of the annual examination.
It called on state Ministries of Education, commandants, principals, as well as school proprietors, to take note of the closing date and also ensure candidates’ timely completion of the registration.
