Following the announcement made by the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC) on the shut down of 42 Microfinance Banks, the NDIC has announced plans to begin verification for depositors come Monday to allay fear amongst depositors.
Some of the banks include Hedgeworth MFB, Bagwai MFB, Rogo MFB, Riggs MFB, Mountain Top MFB and several others across the federation.
The NDIC has instructed all depositors to visit the premises of the liquidated banks by Monday to verify their accounts between the 21st of December to the 24th of December before the listed banks are closed permanently.
