A call has been made by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) for high alerts and vigilance by airlines, international and regional flight operators especially.
This statement was issued in Lagos by Mr Sam Adurogboye, the General Manager, Public Affairs, NCAA. He said this over the recent Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) out break in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) on May 8.
He mentioned that the outbreak has not been declared as a Public Health Event of International Concern(PHEIC) by the World Health Organisation (WHO),
“Notwithstanding, the NCAA, Federal Ministry of Health and all other relevant agencies have been taking concerted steps to ensure the virus does not creep into Nigeria.
