The Clerk of the National, Assembly Sani Omolori, has reacted to the ongoing 4-days warning strike by the Parliamentary Staff Association of Nigeria, PASAN.
Omolori said all issues raised by the association have been addressed after an agreement with the officials of PASAN on Friday.
The Clerk noted that the current protest by the PASAN came as a surprise and called the shutdown of the building as illegal and not on labour-related issues.
Omolori urged the workers not to allow desperate persons purporting to be acting for the staff under the auspices of the association to be misinformed and mislead them.
He promised to beef up the security at all entrances and within the complex from Monday to forestall any breakdown of law and order.
