Mozambique yesterday lost her newly appointed Military Chief, Eugenio Ussene Mussa to Coronavirus.
He gave up the ghost at the Maputo Central Hospital whilst attempts were made to save his life after contracting the dreaded disease.
He was hospitalized for a while before his unfortunate passing.
Prior to his role as Military Chief, Mussa served as the Head of Northern Theatre of Operations in Cabo Delgado.
He was sworn in as the Chief of the General Staff on the 20th of January, 2021.
