The former President of the US, Barack Obama, says he has no intention of working in the White House alongside the newly elected President, Joe Biden because his wife, Michelle Obama, has made it clear that she was no longer involved in politics.
In an interview with CBS Sunday morning, Obama said he is in no rush to start working in the White House because his wife would leave him if she finds out.
“I am mindful of the sacrifices she made but the good news is, for whatever reason, she has forgiven me, sort of. She still reminds me, occasionally, of what she put up with.”
During Obama’s term which lasted 2009 and 2017, Biden was the Vice President.
Obama congratulated Biden on winning the election as he said he would surely work in favour of the people.
