Michael Jordan to nominate Kobe Bryant at Hall of Fame induction

Michael Jordan has disclosed plans to nominate Kobe Bryant posthumously for the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame – as one of basketball’s most elite players.

He will be listed alongside Tim DUncan, Kevin Garnett as well as former WNBA MVP Tamika Catchings and Kim Mulkey. Vanessa Bryant is expected to speak on behalf of her husband in company of Michael Jordan.

Kobe, one of the most celebrated Basketballers of all time at 41 years and was planning to retire before passed away early January 2020, after a fatal helicopter crash that killed everyone on board including his 13-year old daughter, Gianna. Jordan recently revealed his deep seated attachment to some of the final conversations he had with Kobe before his passing.
