A Malian woman initially found to be expecting septuplets gave birth to nine children at a Moroccan hospital. The 25-year old was flown to Morocco from Mali so she could receive the necessary healthcare required.
Halima gave birth to five girls and four boys as reported by Mali’s Health Minister, Fanta Siby who claimed that both mother and the infants were all doing well and will soon return home.
There were a lot of concerns surrounding the new mother’s health and life as birthing nontuplets is indeed a very rare occurence globally, however, all examinations conducted on Cisse showed positive signs and revealed she was carrying septuplets.
Mali’s Health Minister extended her gratitude to the expert medical team who made the delivery a joyful outcome.
