The Lagos State Police Command has arrested a 300 level undergraduate student of the University of Lagos, one Chidinma Ojukwu for allegedly stabbing to death the Chief Executive Officer of Super TV, Michael Usifo Ataga.
The Commissioner of Police Lagos State Command, Hakeem Odumosu, who paraded the suspect at the state Police Command Thursday explained that the 21- year-old student is the second suspect arrested in connection with the gruesome murder.
The owner of the rented apartment where the incident took place was earlier arrested by the state police command.
The suspect allegedly stabbed the deceased to death in the Lekki area of Lagos State over a heated argument that later turned violent. The suspect also alleged withdrew 380, 000 naira from the deceased account using his ATM after the incident.
The police boss, however, explained that the suspects will be prosecuted in court after investigations into the matter are concluded.
