Nigerian pop singer Kiss Daniel has changed his name on all of his social media accounts to Kizz Daniel.
The artist’s Twitter handle still remains @iamkissdaniel. However, his Twitter name has been altered to ‘Kizz Daniel’.
The change comes amidst speculation that the name is an excuse to escape legal consequences from his former label, G-Worldwide Entertainment, who are said to have a court order hampering him for using his stage name or any of his recorded songs in the last four years.
Kiss Daniel’s exit from the label and the extended contract disagreement provoked G-Worldwide Entertainment to issue a statement.
The artist has not issued an official statement to reinforce the name change.
