Kenya detects five cases of India's COVID-19 variant!

The Kenyan health ministry has revealed that five cases of the India COVID-19 variant have been discovered within the country. The samples were gotten from some persons working on a fertilizer plant in western Kenya.

India, which currently saw an astronomical spike in cases and death casualties just recently topped the United States record of average daily casualties of about 3572 this week alone with 392,488 daily infections.

Kenya is the second African nation to detect the Indian strain after Uganda. Although flights to and fro India have now been in many countries, Kenya included, the WHO is yet to classify the strain as a variant of concern.
