JUSUN Accuses Govt. of Neglecting Talks, plans Nationwide Protest Monday

The striking Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria, JUSUN, is accusing the Federal Government of deliberately evading talks over their demands.

At a briefing in Abuja on Friday, Deputy President of JUSUN, Emmanuel Abioye, said the workers have resolved to hold a nationwide peaceful protest on monday to further drive home their demands

The JUSUN is also saying that the appeal by legislators should also be directed at governors to respect the judgment of the court.

A meeting called by the Minister of Labour and Employment, Chris Ngige, was cancelled abruptly with a text message notifying reporters that the scheduled meeting has been put off.
