Justice Abiodun Adebara of an Ilorin High Court has refused to recuse himself from the ongoing case on Plots 3-5 Iloffa road GRA, Ilorin otherwise known as Ile Arugbo (home of elderly ones) purportedly owned by Olusola Saraki who is the late father of former Senate President, Bukola Saraki.
Olusola Saraki through his Asa Investment Company limited, the acclaimed owner of the plots of land had dragged the State Government to Court over the land.
Counsel to the company, Akin Onigbinde (SAN) had asked the judge to recuse himself from the case because of alleged bias.
But in his ruling, Justice Adebara dismissed the application saying he has never been biased against any party in the case.
A definite hearing has now been adjourned to the first and second of February 2021.
