India’s Prime Minister has instructed that all coronavirus directives in the country should be solemnly adhered to. This comes as the nation recorded 1.200.000 million new cases in just four days as the third wave swept across the Asian country.
The toll has been felt most keenly by the medical personnel who have begun to turn away patients due to the astronmical patient to doctor ratio and the obvious lack of medical facility to shoulder the crisis.
In a public address on radio, PM Modi disclosed that the virus has shaken the nation. Some nations have begun to embargo India as a no-fly zone due to the sheer number of cases and are also reluctant to receive entrants from the country.
