The African Youth Growth Foundation, AYGF, has organized a migration and communication campaign to discourage young Nigerians from embarking on illegal migration.
The Executive Director of the foundation, Arome Salifu, stated this during a ceremony to award winners of an essay writing and debate competition organized to sensitize youths on the hazards of irregular migration.
Salifu, who added that migration is not a crime if carried out legally, also advised young Nigerians to avoid irregular migration as the end result is mostly death, slavery, trafficking, organs harvest amongst other ills.
