The sitting Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu has mandated all Commissioners, Assistant Inspector Generals across the 17 zonal commands to restrategise security architectures for their domains.
This directive came during a meeting with senior-level officers at the Police Headquarters in Abuja on the 27th of November whilst assuring that provision will be made available.
The Minister of Police Affairs, Maigari Dingyadi also encouraged the officers stating that the necessary logistics and equipment will be made available in partnership with the Ministry of Finance, Budget and National Planning
The IGP assures the citizens of the renewed commitment of the Force towards ensuring their safety and security especially as the Christmas season approaches. He calls for their continuous understanding, support and encouragement to the Police.
