The Borno state ASUU chapter has demanded for the sack of Minister of Labour Chris Ngige over the policy of “No work no pay”.

The Union walked round the University of Maiduguri campus to show their dissatisfaction over the half payment of salaries and other outstanding payments.

The planned declaration to embark on a one-day protest commenced when a memo circulated on campus to stop examination scheduled to hold on teusday to serve as a warning alert over the outstanding of 8 months salarieis and half-payment of October.

This prompted a briefing at the ASUU Secretariat where it converged on a protest March around the premises of the tertiary institution.
